MEGA CABBAGE!
On March 28th, we got mega cabbages. These types of cabbages can grow up to be about 6 feet wide. Save room in your garden! They were given to us by the Bonnie Cabbage Plant program. Water your cabbage well because there is contest to see whose cabbage grows the best. Contest applications were sent home. There will be 1 class winner, but the grand prize, for only 1 person, is $1,000!

A SUPER MATH DAY!!!!!
Today in MATH we learned about perimeter. They give us one shape and we have to make a different shape, but with the same perimeter. My favorite part in math was when we made shapes with straws. My least favorite was when we stopped doing the MATH lesson. Also we did some MATH work sheets. It was a SUPER MATH DAY!!!!!

Miraculous Monday
In school we have a very important test called the NJ ASK. We are on question 30 and just
completed question 29 in our practice packet. We are on the writing part of the practice test. Some of the questions are hard and some are simple! Parts of the test we have not learned, but we will learn them soon because we are only on chapter 13 and there are 16 chapters in all. The whole class has passed the first stop sign in the test. Stop signs in the test show that we finished that part of the test. We can't wait until May for the real test to happen.

The Amazing Monday
This morning we had math and we did a challenge GIRLS vs BOYS. Unfortunately, the boys WON. The challenge was in time (clock wise) some problems were hard, some were easy. The people that were not head to head on the easel were on the ground with their own whiteboards. It was fun, super fun, and hard!!!

The day of awesomeness
Today we looked on a grid map to find where we lived. It was funny because Mrs.Sullivan stopped us for a second and said we would never get the activity done if we kept on doing it the way we were doing it. Some people did not have their road on the grid map. A lot of people lived on the same road. We all liked the activity as a class.
