Superb Science
Today we started a new topic in science. We talked about living things and non living things. We watched a video about it. We learned there are many living and nonliving things on earth. We also learned that living things reproduce, need food, move on their own, and grow and change. Living things need water, food, air, and sunlight to survive. Also, we wrote in our notebooks a lot.

MR. HALL
Today Mr. Hall, the owner of the Chatterbox came to school. It was so exciting to actually see him in person without our parents bugging us. He even brought fuzzy dice! He taught us how to make his famous french fries !!! He also taught us what it was like to run a business.

Wonderful Social Studies
Today in social studies we watched a video. In the video we learned about consumers, producers, services, wasting money, saving money, and how you spend things on what you need not what you want. Consumers are people who buy things from someone else. Producers are people who make things and grow them then sell the things they made. Services are things a person does to make you safe and healthy. Wasting money is bad for every one. Saving money is keeping money in a bank until you need the money. Today's social studies was awesome.

Clarinet Mrs.Curtis!
On April 2nd Mrs.Curtis came to our class with important guests! The guests were students who played the clarinet. They were all 4th graders. They played America and Frere Jacques. The 4th graders walked around and we asked them questions and got to touch the clarinets. There are 2 types of clarinets: the base clarinet (large), and the clarinet (small). The clarinet has 5 parts. My favorite is the bell. It is shaped like a bell! The base clarinet has a low sound. The bigger the instrument the lower the sound. The smaller the instrument the higher the sound. Clarinet Mrs.Curtis was awesome!
