Writing

In writing this week we are just having a free week for writing.  For example, we could get a piece of paper and just write an entire free story of anything.  In addition, Hayley and I are making a poem about the color blue.  Mrs.Sullivan wanted us to do this because we have been practicing RACES strategy for the NJ ASK.

Table Points

On April 8th we started doing Table points! By the end of the week the Shockers had 8 points, the Hydras had 9 points,and Sulli's Place had 11 points!

HOW Global

Last Friday my class and I went to an assembly for HOW Global.  Miss Telischak was hosting the assembly.  The assembly was about kids in places like Africa that don`t have clean water to drink.We all had to make a label. It had to say  HOW Global and if you wanted to put on a catch phrase that went with HOW Global. Also you could design your label by drawing around where it said HOW Global. When you finished decorating your label you got a water bottle .When you got home you were to drink all of the water in your water bottle. Then fill it with change. The school has a goal of getting each person in the school to bring in at least one bottle.  But if you can`t bring in a water bottle its okay.

These are all the  HOW Global water bottles we  we have so far.
