Judy Blume

Our class likes the author Judy Blume. My favorite book she wrote is Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing.  She's my most favorite author over all. I like how many details she puts in her writing.  If you like realistic fiction books, read her books!!

Silly Math

Ha! Ha! Ha! The class  laughed at Mrs. Sullivan's hysterical drawings as we strived to guess what she drew. This was a lesson for writing  multiplication stories in math. Ah, Ah, ...  , no ah Curious George! Squirrel  with suspenders!  No not close at all! It was a chipmunk. Oh! we yelled.

Gym

In gym we are doing mini town.In mini town we are riding around on scooters. There are all different activities.  Here are a few: You can go bowling, climb the rock climbing wall, play basketball, play golf.  You can also get gas and put it in the hole of the scooter and  you can get your own driver's license. Or if you're tired of scootering around you can take a break.

Book Fair

When I got to the book fair I looked for books. My dad didn't give me money so I made a wish list. I found a lot of books I like. A book I found was called World Records 2013. I looked in the chapter side first. I put 15 items on my wish list. When I was done with my wish list I had to pick a number that was under the teacher's pictures. The teacher I picked was Mrs.Sullivan. When the book fair was done I put my wish list in my backpack and ran as fast as flash out of the school. I had a fun time at the book fair.

Centers

When the class is in centers I like to do independent reading.  It's when some of the class reads and records the pages we read. When we are done you have to write what you read in the story. Then you check it with the teacher. Then you can read another book. That's what I like about centers.

Science

I like to do science because I like to be the weather checker .  I like saying what the date is,  looking out the window to see if its sunny, rainy , windy or partly cloudy.  I like holding the microphone and talking in it.  Also because sometimes we do fun things in science.

The Wall

On Veteran's Day we read The Wall. It's about how a father and his son go to Washington D.C. They saw the wall and looked for their grandfather's name.  They got a pencil and paper and they rubbed pencil on the paper against the wall so their grandfather's name showed  up on the paper.

Mrs.Sullivan's time magazines

In our classroom we  have Time Magazines on the wall.  Mrs.Sullivan has been collecting them since 2006 and it is 2013.  If you ask me that is a long time.
