Our Book Reports

We had to do a book report for school so I chose the book Tom Brady Football Superstar because I wanted to do a book about Tom Brady, who is the four time Super Bowl quarterback of the New England Patriots.  We got a sheet for what we had to do in the three paragraphs.  In the first paragraph we had to type the name of the book the author and illustrator.  We also had to type the copyright date and the reason why we picked that person.  In the second paragraph we had to type the the date of birth and where they lived also important events that happened in the middle (Mrs.Sullivan said at least three.) and when they died, if they were still alive you didn't have to.  In the third paragraph we had to type if there was one question we would want to ask them if we met and would we want to live that person's life and why. Mrs.Sullivan said there was an extra credit we could do, on the day of presentation we could dress up as the person we chose for the book report (Mine is Tom Brady like I said in the beginning.) while we are doing our presentation.  Tonight when my mom gets home I am going to ask her to unlock my dads computer so I can add a timeline, glossary, and index just because I want to. :)

The 100th day of school

On the 100th day of school my class was given 100 cups.  We had to make a display and we spelled  M U for Monsters University. Then we decorated it with monsters.

Opinion

In class we're doing an opinion writing and it asks you questions like, What is your favorite lunch?  Who makes you laugh the most?  and where do you like reading?

Fractions

I loved making the clay geyser with Hannah. We learned that a geyser has two names the second  is roaring gusher.  We also learned they shoot out really hot water and people around don't get wet but sometimes they get a couple drops on them. I   had lots of fun making it with Hannah. Maybe we can do it again one day.  I also liked when we played Sparkle when it was me and Shea.  She won.  The last word was whole and I said H instead of  W so Shea won. I had lots of fun! My favorite thing in math is using fraction tiles. That is all!

Landforms

Landforms

Yesterday we made a landform and I made a geyser.  A geyser is very very very HOT so some of the water might get on you but only a little that's ok. We made it out of clay and the geyser is very tall. I made it out of clay and the colors I used were blue, yellow, and green.

Opinion Writing is my FAVORITE!!!

I think that opinion writing is the best. I love it even more than reports, writing books, or even writing a research paper. I like opinion writing the best because nobody can change and there is no right or wrong. When we do opinion writing, we get to share our ideas with other people. That is why opinion writing is my favorite.

Landforms

Yesterday me and my class were working on land forms. We were working in 3 groups together. I was working with my friend Alex. All of us were working with clay. It was so fun. We did a volcano.  It was fun because we were putting in a lot of lava, actually clay.

Clay Models

Yesterday our class made landforms out of clay. Jillian made a river and Kathleen made a plain. The colors are not the same. For example the river had yellow instead of green. A lot of people did volcanoes and geysers.

VERY FUN BIOGRAPHY BOOK REPORT!!!!!\

Guess what exciting thing we are doing this time? We are doing a biography book report. The best part is we have to dress up like the people we are doing. I'm doing famous snowboarder Shawn White. I have a great idea or at least I think good idea.  I'm so excited for our very very fun biography book report.

My Biography Book Report

I did my biography book report on Milton Hershey. It took me about 4 or 5 days to finish the book but it was worth it. Then I did my report in about half an hour. I had a fun time doing my report and I hope Mrs.Sullivan does it again with any kind of subject.

Fairy Tales and Myths

We are doing folktales and I like fairy tales and myths the best because when we were doing fairy tales I was Rapunzle and I got a feather boa as my hair.  I think myths  are cool.    By Kaitlyn

project

We had to pick a biography.  I did Eli Manning.   I did all about Eli Manning because he is my favorite football player. His number is 10. Football rocks!!

Fractions

In math we are working on fractions. Yesterday we broke into groups.  We were using number lines. My opinion is that they are hard and challenging.

Biography excitement!

I'm a little excited to share my presentation about a famous person (I'm not telling until tomorrow). It's  a biography that requires the person's date of birth, death, and important events.  - Christian

land forms!

In the classroom we're learning about land forms.  Me and my partner Declan made a volcano.  It has faces and bodies melting in it.  Cool right?! but it's not a volcano that has just brown and red, it has...green, yellow, blue, red, light blue. It's so awesome!!! Mason's lagoon and Christian's island is awesome.  Everyone's land forms were AWESOME!!!

Jam Day!

We  had a great time jammin' in our jammies today.  We will find out at the end of the day if we set the world record!

Gorillas

Today we all got to draw our own pictures for our report. Our report was based on the book, The One and Only Ivan. It was sad sometimes but there were a lot of happy times. The book was based on  a gorilla's real life.
