Mathematical Math!

Today in math we learned about 2 different systems.  They are: The Customary System and The Metric System.  Today we focused more on The Metric System.  The 2 types of units for The Metric System are: Liters and Milliliters.  Milliliters are about the size of an eyedropper.  A liter is about the size of a thermos.  In The Customary System, the 4 types of tools are: cups, pints, quarts, and gallons.  A cup is about the size of a drinking glass.  A pint is about the size of a water bottle.  A quart is about the size of a carton of orange juice.  A gallon is about the size of a jug of milk.  Usually, The Metric System is used in different countries.  We use The Customary system in New Jersey.
